Coconut is a purebread chocolate Persian with beautiful amber eyes. She is 8 years old, CFA certified, not declawed and has been spayed. I have owned her since she was a kitten (while in college) but now that I have a demanding career she is not getting the love and attention she deserves. We have a 30 pound dog and she ignores her for the most part so I don't think dogs bother her, although ours is pretty docile and low energy. I do think she would prefer another cat to play with but has been fine as an only cat up until now. She does require daily brushing to keep her pretty, fluffy and mat free, we normally shave her as this is easier for us. She has gone blind in recent years, I'm not sure to what extent but I don't think she has much vision at all. She walks slowly and uses her whiskers to test where she is going, but it does not seem to hinder her from wandering the house. Her eyes are not cloudy at all and we have been unable to determine why she went blind. We are not in a hurry to find her a home and just want her to end up with the right person/ family to love and care for her. She is very sweet and will start purring whenever you pet her. She doesn't like to sit on you/ your lap but prefers to be next to you or in the same room. Please text or email, calls will be ignored, if you are interested or would like more information about her. We are asking a $150 adoption fee to be donated to rescue me to ensure she goes to someone who has the means to properly care for her.
