About Playa

Adoption Fee: $100
Turkish Van / Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hi there! My name is Playa, and I'm a sweet, adventuresome, affectionate Turkish Van/ DSH mix gal who was born in April 2015. My soft-as-a-bunny's coat is mostly white with black ears and tail, and I have a few black polka dots on my back. The Turks would say that those dots are the thumbprints of God! I'm a loving girl who's quite a cuddler with my humans (of all ages). I'm also very curious and love to explore! When it's playtime, I'm fascinated by laser lights, feather wand toys, and balls with bells inside. I'm an 'alpha' cat, and I get along with other cats as long as they're submissive; on the other hand, if the other cats are dominant, it leads to arguments. I guess you're wondering why a fantastic feline like me is in need of a new home. I was adopted from Buster's Friends in 2015, but my humans recently moved into a new apartment, and the landlord said they had to get rid of three of their five cats because the limit is two. So they picked the three of us, Dexter, Snowflake, and myself, who were most recently adopted and the most adoptable. I'm living proof that even those of rare breeding, unique coloration, and profound beauty can end up homeless! Fortunately Buster's Friends agreed to take me back into foster care and help me find a wonderful new home. Now I'm ready to find my this-time-forever home. So waste no time arranging to meet me so we can start writing a new chapter of our lives together! Playa is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Playa, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her. To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, download the adoption application at http://www.bustersfriends.org/catadoptionapplication.shtml. First save and then open it; then you can print it and fill it out.
