About Buster

Buster just cracks us up! He's a 10 month old Mastiff who is all puppy, all the time! Buster arrived at ACL after being surrendered at a partner facility because...you guessed it...he was too big. Buster is about 90 pounds, and he'll probably get a little bigger before he's done growing. He's an easygoing, mellow dog - though he has spurts of puppy energy, he generally prefers to walk next to you, lay down at your feet, and get lots of cuddles. The nice thing about extra large breed dogs is they tend to be a little calmer. Buster is excellent with all animals that he's met so far - he's curious and respectful, but he'd really love a dog buddy to play with! He'll do well with kids of all ages - this guy is a gentle giant for sure. Because Buster is large, he will need some space to move around, but with regular walks and lots of love, he'll make do just fine with a big couch to claim as his own!
