About Lucy Lu

My name is Lucy Lu, and I am a sweet 1-2 year year old girl weighing about 15 pounds, who needs a family that has allot of time, and love for me. I love to be cuddled. This is what my foster Mom said about me.. Lucy Lu just might be the perfect pup! This pretty little girl is sweet, loving and easy going. She's always up for a good cuddle session but also happy to just hang out nearby if you're busy. She's smart too, very attentive and figured out how to use a doggie door right away on her own. Lucy walks well on leash, no pulling, and she's been potty trained with zero accidents in her foster home. She loves treats which makes her easy to teach and train. She really likes the company of other dogs and gains confidence from them. She needs and wants the companionship of other pets and will be much happier to be part of a multi-dog household, not an 'only child'. Lucy Lu is a little shy and unsure at first after being in a scary noisy shelter. She responds quickly to a patient gentle touch and then the playful silly side of her blooms. She doesn't seem to have had much experience with car rides so she's still learning about those and will do well if started out with happy short rides with treats to fun places. You would have to look far and wide for a very long time to find a better canine companion and family member than Lucy. With love and gentle encouragement as she settles in she will be the dog you will wonder how you ever lived without!
