About ShihShih

ShihShih is a 1-2 year old Dachshund. She was dumped at shelter in Texas with 6 other Dachshunds. Since this particular shelter has almost no foot traffic and lots of illness, we got ShihShih and her siblings out of the shelter immediately. ShihShih is now in CO and ready to find her forever home. She is being fostered with her sister Lulu. They would do great going to a home together, but they absolutely do not have to, they would do fine without each other. ShihShih is much more outgoing than Lulu. She is the cutest little girl. She loves to snuggle, go for walks, and burrow in blankets like most dachshunds. She does well with other dogs, but isn't the biggest fan of puppies jumping all over her, but then again, what dog really is. She is great with all people and is truly just a happy, snuggly girl. We would love for ShihShih to go to a home with a family who has lots of time to spend with her, and who will let her snuggle on the couch and in bed since that seems to be her favorite activity.
