Maya is about 2 years old and weighs 20 pounds. Her previous owner turned her into a shelter leaving her in the night box. It appears that Maya had puppies before so perhaps they no longer had use for her. It's a very sad thing. Maya is a bit shy at first, but very loving. We really don't know what breed she is. She resembles a Fox Terrier, but she is taller. The shelter listed her as a Beagle mix. If you are interested in meeting Maya please first fill out the online adoption application at www.greatpets.org. Once your application has been received you will be contacted. Maya's $200 adoption donation includes her vet exam, spay surgery, microchip, fecal and flea treatment.
