About Mateo

Hi! My name is Mateo, (aka Potato or Tater Tot). I'm a little over one year old, 38 lb., neutered Catahoula / heeler mix. My foster mom says I'm sweetest dog she's ever seen! I have the softest brindle coat and a wiggle butt. I'm also a very polite kisser! I really love playing with my 4-legged foster sisters, cuddling with my humans, and food, which makes me very easy to train. I know sit, down, touch & come. I am currently working on stay and heel. I am 99% potty trained and I walk really well on a leash. I don't need to be crated as I don't chew or get into things and I very rarely bark. However I am very interested in cats, so a slow introduction would be necessary. I'm being fostered in Eau Claire, WI and my adoption fee is $250 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
