Thanks for your cooperation!****** Claus Chi terrier mix 2 years old. Look at this sweet little gentlemen Claus, it's so sad to think of how these guys end up in kill shelters but yet here we are. Claus is a 2 year old maybe chi terrier mix we think who weighs 10 lbs is up to date on his shots, heart worm negative, chipped, neutered & does not like crates at all. What we do know is he loves people & other dogs & he has lovely doggy manners. He is a well rounded little fellow & deserves to be in a forever home. We do not know how he is with cats or children but for sure he wants to be with people & be loved. Claus must go to his forever home where people are present & another dog is present & he will need work on training & potty training as do all of our beloved rescues. Claus has an adoption fee of $550. *UPDATE --from his foster family... Once he learns manners (a bit of boundaries when people are eating and such) he is going to be more perfect. Oh and he LOVES squeaky toys. But pretty much ignores the cat and gets along pretty well w the dogs. He wants to claim is and not share but is easily corrected. Like most dogs in our rescue, Claus will need work on potty training. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
