Lou is a Central Asian Shepherd who was transferred to a rescue from a County shelter healthy but needed time to warm up to people and other dogs. Rescue allowed a member of the public to interact with her in a concrete yard daily and ended up ruining her knees. They have $1M in their bank account but will not spend the $ to fix her knees and did not allow volunteers to foster her. She has been in almost total confinement since April with no change in her status. We have found other adopters interested in her but Rescue denies them. Are looking for someone or Rescue with breed experience to pull her and give her a better life. We have fundraised money for her support but expect the rescue to pay for the knee surgeries if still required. Please contact me if you know of anyone that could help her. Thanks. She is an LGD but it is unknown if she has been bonded with any type of animal or trained for guard duty.
