About Moose

I found Moose a little over a year ago on the side of the road eating gravel. When I took him to the vet to get checked out they said he looked like a Pitbull/boxer mix. Now that he is older I think he is more pit than anything. He had his first round of vaccinations and second round of vaccinations but he is not current on them. But he will be before he goes to a new home. I've been trying to find him a forever home since I found him. Three times I've had someone say they wanted him than change their minds before getting him. I had no intention of keeping him this long, but that's how it ended up. Since I will be moving to Dallas soon I can't take him to the apartments since they won't take Pitbulls. So more then ever I have GOT to find him a new home. Moose is so sweet and very smart. He started off in the house with no problem, but our small dogs started being aggressive with him so he started to be aggressive back which lead to separation. I have no clue how he is with other small animals like cats and he has never been around children so I don't know about that either. My parents and I have never had a problem other than him jumping up sometimes. But he has gotten better with that. He can be lead on a leash and knows a few tricks. I'm desperate to find this beautiful sweet boy a forever home that will treat him wonderfully! I don't know what will happen to him when I move. I can't take him with me and I can't leabe him with my 70yo parents. Moose is smart, lovable, loves to be loved on, when you give him a treat he throws it in the air a few times before eating it, he learns tricks very quickly, has been leash trained, and loves to sleep on a nice cool floor.
