Ava is a sweet 12+ year old senior that was sadly surrendered by her previous owners because they didn't want her anymore. After meeting her, we can't imagine why. She gets along great with other dogs as they were in her former home and is now in her new foster home. She shows some excitement when she sees you go for her leash; she loves to go for her daily walks; although very slowly. She is totally housetrained and seldom makes any sound. On that rare occasion it sounds a bit like a hoarse foghorn. She loves to get affection, her evening massage and her afternoon treat. She rides well in the car and tends to sleep a lot. She has lost most of her hearing but it hasn't affected her learning. She quickly learned when mealtime is, where her bowl goes, where to go 'outside' and when it's time for bed. She has easily fit in with her new foster home and is looking forward to having a loving, caring forever home soon. Will you be that home?
