About Carter

This adorable medium sized goofball is Carter! Carter is around 7 months old and 30ish lbs. He should not get too much bigger. If we had to guess at breed (and it really would be a total guess) he is likely a lab/herding dog (australian shepherd, border collie, shep) type mix...so basically he is a lovable mutt. Carter is a very happy and outgoing boy. He is very playful with and tolerant of other dogs. He has met a few kids while in our care and is very playful with them, so as long as the kids can handle some puppy energy and jumping Carter is very happy to meet them. He knows sit (a treat in your hand does seem to help him remember it though) and is good in a crate. He is already up to date on vet care, including neuter, vaccinations, microchipping and heartworm tested (negative).
