About Alvie

Alvie is a very sweet young girl, weighing about 50 lbs, that we are guessing to be 10-12 months old. She has a very gentle nature & is more on the submissive side. She was very frightened when rescued off the street but came around to trust & show her sweet nature in no time. She is really smart girl that is very affectionate & playful. She loves to play fetch with a ball, loves children, car rides & gets along great with other dogs & her kitty friends. She is presently being fostered in a family with kids, dogs & cats. Alvie will make a wonderful companion & would love to live in a family with some kids! She is microchipped, spayed, knows basic commands, working on leash manners, crate-trained, potty trained & up to date on all vaccines. Alvie is now ready for her forever home. Streethearts Animal Rescue always tries to find a lost dog's owner during their stray hold & for some time after during their vetting process before placing a dog up for adoption. Most all dogs that we find lost, running or abandoned are not microchipped or spay/neutered (vaccine status is always unknown). They are very often in poor health, emaciated, injured or Heartworm positive when they are rescued. Usually, more often than not, the owner is not found which we often see as a blessing to the dog that obviously was not taken good care of. We strive to find the very best homes for our rescue dogs, fitting them to the right potential new owner & take care of all their vetting & medical needs prior to being available for adoption.
