About ACE

** We are not a dog pound or shelter with open hours. All dogs are in foster care. Meet & greets are scheduled after pre-adoption applications are submitted and approved. Meet & greets will begin to be scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 19th * =========================================== 'ACE' is a HANDSOME, 5 month old Lab mix male who born to a pure bred Lab mother whom we rescued from a high kill dog pound. Ace has magnificent coloring; chocolate on top of black. Per his foster: 'Ace is a funny, goofy, puppy who will love on you to no end! He is so sweet and snuggly, and his clumsiness will always draw some laughter. Ace loves toys, bones, and any kind of playmate. After a day of playing and hopping around after his toys, he loves to snuggle up, and give anyone a big hug. Ace loves friends, and gets along with cats just fine.' Ace has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, leash trained, crate-trained and house-trained. (He is still too young to be neutered, as Veterinary research indicates that early spaying/neutering may have a causal link to later-in-life chronic conditions [ex. ACL issues, Cushings, etc.] because of the cut off of growth hormones). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
