Hi, my name is Declan, I am estimated to be about 8-10 weeks. My mother is believed to have been abused and neglected, and then dumped when she was pregnant with me and my litter mates. My foster parents found us about 5 weeks after they first saw our mommy. Because of our mom's history,she taught us to fear humans. Unlike my littermates my foster parents were not able to catch me at first. My litter mates have had w weeks of love, regular meals and a warm bed. I've been running wild and not eating much. Thankfully my foster parents didnt give up, and with the help of my new foster sister, daddy was able to catch me today. I'm still unsure of these humans, but a full belly and a warm blanket is wonderful. My siblings tell me today My foster parents will work daily to gain my trust, they seem nice, but I still have a very long way to go. My new mommy and Daddy will need to be very patient with me. I like to play, but I am still too shy to play with my foster parents. I do like to play with my siblings my foster siblings. Even the cats are becoming my friends. I am told I will learn not to potty in the house, but I don't know what that means yet.
