About Lucy

My name is Lucy and I am large and in charge! I am a big five years young Akita girl who is friendly, playful, and loving. I lost my previous home do to military base housing restrictions. That was in Texas and I spent three years waiting in rescue there for another home but there are so many Akitas there that I did not get a chance to meet people. I moved out here to Phoenix because they say that is where all the best homes are for the best Akitas like me. I want to be with my people, but not with other dogs. I must be the only pet in the home. I will do anything you want me to do as long as we can spend time together. I am in a foster home now. My foster mom says I am super special because I walk well on a leash, am crate trained and doing super well learning tricks. That's because I am wicked smart!!! If you give me a chance, I will learn whatever you want me to if that's how I get a home.... just give me a chance to show you!
