About Budgie

Picachu is a green and yellow male budgie, age unknown. His friend, Guido is a 2 year old blue and white male budgie. They came to us when their owners had some serious housing issues that would not permit the birds to remain there safely. They are very playful and lots of fun to watch. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $5 per bird
