You look like you could be in the market for a soulful, pretty medium-sized lass to call your favorite girl for life. Well, lucky for you, I am available for adoption through Fetching Tails Foundation! My name is Missie and I am a lovely 6-year-old collie mix who weighs in at around 40 pounds. I have gorgeous golden long collie hair, and a sweet snow-white face that will melt your heart. I wear my heart on my face, literally with my precious nose and figuratively through my expressive eyes that always let you know just how much I appreciate your tender, loving care of me! Fetching Tails Foundation saved me from Chicago Animal Care & Control after my previous owners had to give me up because of landlord issues. I am a shy girl, so I am very thankful that my foster mommy jumped in to rescue me so I wouldn't have to spend any time in the busy, overwhelming shelter. I am hoping for a loving family who enjoys both playtime and cuddle time, and maybe a fenced yard where I can romp around to burn energy would be nice too? Some of my favorite activities include going for strolls around the neighborhood and I like the occasional car ride with foster mommy for a Starbucks run. I get along with people of all ages, and even kitty cats! I would prefer to be your only canine companion, though; I just love having all your attention focused on me! I also enjoy naps and relaxing on my favorite beds. I have good house manners and am potty trained. I am also very smart and have learned commands including sit, down, stay, and give paw. I would love a dog-savvy, patient owner who will continue to work with me on my training because it is a great way for us to bond and I love to learn.
