About Skippy Jack

Skippy Jack is a happy go lucky 2 year old terrier who came to us from the Humane Society of Yuma. Skippy Jack came to Yuma a little on the skinny side, but we have been hard at work to help him gain weight! He could still stand to put on a few pounds, but he's come a long way! Skippy was very timid and shy when we got him & while he can still be a bit shy when first meeting new strangers, he has quickly come out of his shell and shown us the fun loving dog we all knew he could be. He is great with men and women, but will need gentler older children who understand how to handle timid dogs. Skippy is great with other dogs, and doesn't seem to mind cats. We are unsure of his house training skills, but he will go in and out a doggy door which is a good start! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $300. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet Wally come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesaday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
