Koda is a 7 month old puppy I've been fostering after my former roommates dog had pups. Her mother was a purebred AKC Alaskan Malamute, the father was a trained protection dog that was a Czech/German Shepherd Belgian Malinois mix. Shes house trained, kennel trained, knows basic commands, and walks pretty good on a leash. Shes had most of her puppy shots, will just need a rabies and to be spayed. Koda is a great girl with a strong desire to work. She's an active pup that loves to go swimming and hiking and always stays with the pack when she does. She's been raised around many other dogs and cats however she has a higher prey drive and I don't feel cats would be a good mix for her. She's had some exposure to kids also, I'm just not sure how she would do in a home with them. I feel like the right individual or possibly couple would be the best place for her. She can be a little nervous or barky around new people, but once she's used to you she's fine. She's extremely trainable and is eager to absorb anything you teach her. Koda loves to play fetch and it has been a good outlet for her. She's a very sweet girl but will need a strong owner and will be a GREAT dog for someone willing to put in the energy and focus she needs.
