About Derrick

Derrick is a handsome one year old dachshund mix who is looking for a forever home! Derrick came to the rescue after he was found as a stray. Unfortunately, we were unable to return Derrick to his previous home. Since Derrick was found as a stray, we know very little about his past. Since coming to us, Derrick has done well with other dogs, but may be a bit much for the teeny tiny dogs. Derrick loves to play and run in the yard. Derrick will make a good buddy for someone who likes long walks or short hikes. We are unsure if Derrick is housebroken, but he does understanding how to go in and out of a doggy door. Derrick is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed, and vet checked. His adoption fee is $220. His adoption fee includes a free vet visit as well as 30 days of free pet insurance. To meet Wally come to our shelter location 1102 W Hatcher Rd open Tuesaday to Sunday 11-6. Call for locations on weekend as we have off site adoption events that some dogs attend.
