Her perfect features bisected by white make brindle Millie one dramatic dog knockout! At 32 pounds, this abandoned beauty is crazy about cuddling and closeness, and eagerly elicits all the loving she can. To do so, she either sits in her foster mom's lap or simply rests her head there, and then lies beside her in bed at night. Extremely intelligent and very alert to her surroundings, she's also highly food motivated, making her easy to teach and to train. She knows 'sit' and 'down', is working on 'stay' and 'off', and walks well in a soft harness and leash, staying close to her foster mom's side. She loves all toys, especially squeaky ones and balls, and one of her most endearing traits is carrying a stuffed spider larger than her own head in her mouth as she runs round the yard playing throw and catch by herself. While somewhat wary when meeting strangers, she slowly warms up to them, and with the proper introductions, gets along with other dogs. Housetrained but not crate trained, this marvelous miss is hoping to find a patient and loving home to complete her training and keep her cuddly close fur-ever.
