About Ranger

Hi! I'm Ranger. I was abandoned on a bombing range. I am approximately 2 y/o and weigh 42 lbs. I am very sweet boy who hasn't seen the best of life. I most probably used as a hunting dog. I came in with a cyst the size of a golf ball on my neck. The staff feared it was something life threatening. A nice volunteer took me to the vet (someone privately sponsored this trip) and they confirmed it was a foreign object (thorn) that had possibly caused an abscess! Well, when they neutered me, the vet was planning to drain the abscess...but low and behold he found a 9 mm bullet. That is what caused the abscess! It was successfully removed and the dead tissue around it! I have a pretty coo story don't I?? Now you want to adopt me!!!!! I would be great family dog if you would give me plenty of exercise! I have your typical hound tendencies of wanting to run and explore :) My adoption fee is $75. This covers my neuter, UTD vaccines, and microchip. It is your responsibility to keep me up to date on yearly vaccines and monthly heart worm preventative. If you are able to give me a lifetime commitment, please call to set up a time to meet me.
