About Maya

THE ADOPTION FEE IS $250** Maya is a sweet 7 month old, 35 pound, Blue Merle Australian shepherd! Maya tends to be shy and reserved at first but will open up to anyone giving her love and attention! With her being reserved, she is very calm and docile for a puppy. She would do great with any other dogs or cats, and currently lives with a foster sibling dog and foster sibling cat. Maya is crate trained, and almost potty trained, although she does still have occasional accidents. She does have typical Aussie energy and enjoys staying busy with her people and playing with her foster siblings, and enjoys to chew on a pair of antler chews! Maya LOVES to be outside, often choosing to stay lounged in the sun rather then being inside, although she must be adopted to a family that has inside pets. She would do great for anyone who enjoys the outdoors just as much as she does. She recently just learned that she likes to swim (see video!) and visit the ranch to see the cows and horses. She is up to date with her vaccinations and spayed, as well as on heartworm preventative. She would love to find a family with a ranch.
