Angel is a beautiful and incredibly smart, adaptable Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix who was found hiding in a culvert on a dirt road in New Boston, TX. She was very emaciated, had blisters on her skin do to too much sun exposure and very defensive. Once we were able to earn her trust and bring her to KRR; she was bathed, skin was treated and we was so hungry! She is very sweet, but have figured out that she can be food aggressive towards our other female rescue dogs. We believe that male only dogs would be good companions for her. She has been known to bark at cats when they are jumping around the home, but has never tried to harm them. (we advise caution, but cannot attest to aggressiveness towards cats). She still needs to see our Veterinarian for a check-up, vaccines, heart-worm test, possible spay (if needed) and to be given a good bill of health before she is available for Adoption. You may still apply for Adoption with us to begin the process and be prepared for when she is ready! If you or someone you know has the room in your heart and home for this Furever Friend, please feel free to contact us!
