This is Midnight - he is one of May's puppies. They were born here at the shelter with us on 12/11/17. Mom is a Boxer and it is reported that dad is also a boxer. Momma May was released from a breeder into rescue. Because these puppies won't be ready to go home until February what we will do is take adoption deposits on them (by sex) and people will be able to pick their puppy when they are available based upon the order the deposits are received. Total adoption fee will be $225.00. By the time the puppies are ready to go home they will have had their first two puppy shots, have been wormed twice, will be spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. We will require an adoption application be submitted which you will find on our website at www.patriotsforpets.com At about two week intervals we will post updated pictures of the babies. We will not be able to accommodate individual requests for updated pictures. When we can get them taken we will post them. The pups will not be able to have visitors and interact with prospective adopters until February 10, 2018 - no exceptions. About the first of February if the weather is nice you may be able to view them in the play yard but that is not a guarantee - it will strictly depend upon the weather at that time. Boxers are amazing family pets and by getting them when they are a little over 8 weeks old they should have no issues with other dogs, cats, kids, etc. Remember puppies are a lot of work - they take time to housebreak, get out of the puppy chewing stage and boxers do have lots of energy. Most Boxers at adulthood will weigh between 50 and 70 lbs. with the males typically being larger than the females. If you aren't prepared to put in the work that a puppy takes - PLEASE DON'T GET ONE.
