Arf! Arf! My name is Jaeger and I am an 5-7year old, 11 pound honorary Pomeranian. We believe Jaeger is of the border collie family only bite sized! Jaeger came to PPR from a local shelter. He was an emergency intake as he was unable to void. We brought him straight to our vet where it was confirmed he had bladder stones, and three small stones were blocking his urethra. He had emergency surgery and spent a few days in the vet's care. Poor Jaeger had these stones for a long time as his bladder was severely stretched and damaged. Jaeger is fixed up now and ready to find his forever home. Jaeger is a man's dog. He loves all people but the man of the house is the apple of Jaeger's eye. This boy knows commands! He is super obedient, smart, and loving. Unfortunately, due to the damage caused by the bladder stones Jaeger does have some leaking of his bladder yet. This should improve over the next year. In the meantime he is on some medicine to help prevent the leaking and a prescription diet to help prevent any future recurrence of the stones. He also wears a belly band while in the house to prevent the little urine drips from soiling the floor and furniture. Jaeger does well with other dogs but prefers to not have a young, active, and in his face dog in the home. This guy loves car rides, walks, and snuggling in bed. He is going to make some lucky family the best dog you could ever want. To adopt Jaeger, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella) heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, neuter, cystotomy, incontinence supplies, dental cleaning, and all the love you can handle!
