About Choji

Choji is a very sweet Bassett Hound/Beagle Mix who is house-broken but doggy door is recommended if able (in our experience he tells us he needs to go out by walking up to the door). He was found abandoned in front of a clinic with broken legs. He is very intelligent, strong and can be very protective. Though he has gotten along with our personal pets and the other rescues, we have noticed food aggression in the last few months. This sweet boy would do best in a home where he would be the only dog. Basset Hounds are known for being quite stubborn but once they are trained, they are very obedient. Choji has recently been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccines.
