Hi! I'm POOKIE, an 8-year-old, 60 lb., female, Lab mix who's family moved and didn't take me with them ))): Don't know why they left me in this overcrowded and noisy shelter. It's not a safe place for a girl like me. And yesterday I was put in the outdoor kennels and it gets cold at night here in the south. I just don't know why they would do this; I'm a good girl and a friendly dog. I have good house manners, I'm calm and generally quiet and I know where to potty. And I'm smart too even though I don't get why they left me here! (And you can teach this senior saint new tricks!) I love attention (Yes, you may pet me now. And now. And now) So what do ya think?
