About Luna

I'm LUNA, a 3-year-old, 76 lb., female Lab mix. Here's my story. I have been well cared for as a wonderful companion to an older lady who I love. But recently she took a fall, broke her hip, and is now in a nursing home. I miss her and she misses me, but we can't be together anymore. I'm super sweet, great with other dogs, housebroken and crate trained. (I'm not sure about cats or kids yet.) Unfortunately I'm stuck in a shelter in the South which is not a good place to be especially for a large dog who takes up a lot of space in an overcrowded shelter. I need to find a home soon and am hoping someone who loves big labbies like me will take me in and give me a forever home with lots of love. Are you my hero? If so, come claim me soon! I'm LUNA!
