About NEEDS EMERGENCY FOSTER

EMERGENCY FOSTER IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA NEEDED ASAP OR BENJI WILL BE EUTHANIZED! This poor Beagle boy was kept in a cage practically his whole life. His family crated him while they worked, crated him at night, and crated him whenever they went out. He cried so much they put a bark collar on him so he'd get a painful electric shock whenever he barked. After 10 long, horrible years, his dad died, and his mom is in a nursing home. Relatives cannot keep Benji, so want to put him down. As a last ditch effort to save him, a friend contacted us. Benji has known nothing but sadness and isolation. He deserves a chance to live, and he deserves a chance to experience love! Benji is healthy, house trained, vaccinated and neutered, but lacks a lot of social skills. He needs an experienced dog owner who will be patient with him while he learns to trust again. Benji should go to an adult only home, preferably as an only dog, or with a small submissive dog. If we cannot find a foster home for him asap, the family will euthanize Benji. He is otherwise a sweet dog, and for him to die now would be a horrible tragedy. The family will not release Benji to go into a boarding facility, and only want him to have a real foster home. Can you foster Benji, or know someone who can?
