About Rosie Green

1 year old Rosie is just your typical, energetic, mouthy, untrained retriever mix puppy. Rosie has lived with families in the past who could not handle her energy level - - - nor her totally normal puppy nipping (though this is one of the behaviors we are working on to curb). Retrievers retrieve because they like and want things in their mouths - and sadly, unless taught that some things are not appropriate, that can translate to clothing, hands, arms, and legs - lol. Rosie is a happy girl that is totally crate trained - and mostly housebroken. Rosie still likes to jump up - we are also working on that. With very little work, Rosie is going to make some very lucky person one heck of a good friend and companion. She likes other dogs - but she may be a little overwhelming to oldsters. Rosie is spayed, UTD on vaccinations for distemper/parvo and rabies, and heartworm negative and on preventative. Rosie is best suited for adopters and families who lead an active life and with children over age 12 (because of her energy level).
