OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hey There! My name is Armina and boy should you be happy you stumbled across me! I've been waiting 5 long months for my perfect forever family. Foster mamma assured me you were out there and here you are! I was picked up off the street with my seven puppies and brought to these nice angels. Like a good mom I waited until all of my puppies got adopted and now it's my turn! I have been the perfect house guest! I've never had an accident, only chew on my toys, and only bark when I hear someone outside the door. I love to cuddle and have my belly rubbed basically all day long. Being outside though is my absolute favorite thing in the entire world! Whether it's going for a walk or laying on the patio. Bonus points if you have a yard. My foster mamma has taken me to a fenced in yard before and she says I smile when I get to run free! I do have some quirks and am still learning that strangers, with 2 and 4 legs, aren't scary. I need someone who will be patient and really work with me. I currently walk on a gentle lead and it has really helped me relax on walks! I promise if you give me a chance to come stay with you, you won't regret it! I get very attached to my humans and want nothing more than to show them how much I love them. I'll even ask to hold your hand! What do ya say we give this a shot! Armina is a Female Shepherd Mix that we estimate to be born around 7/1/2016 and weighs 35 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
