About Spirit

Spirit is a one year old Italian greyhound/chihuahua female mix. She weighs five pounds. She was born 9/24/16. She would prefer a home with no children. She is a happy, playful puppy who is feisty, bossy, and a total princess. She bosses her brothers around and rules the litter. She is tiny and delicate with long thin legs. She would do best with dogs no larger than she is. She could be a purse dog but will likely tell you that she can do it. Homes with experience owning tiny dogs are requested. This is not a dog that can jump from the couch or bed without potential broken legs. She will need to be monitored closely. Adoption contract and fee applies. Smidget Rescue is not a shelter, and dogs cannot be seen at the Rescue location. All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If you live within a five-hour radius of Seattle, WA, (such as Portland, Vancouver B.C., etc.), we can arrange for a home visit. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
