About Milo

MILO - I may be a senior dog, but I'm still full of Jack Russell energy! I LOVE to swim, run around, and play with squeaky toys. I'm a happy dog that loves to spend time with adults. I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, potty-trained, and even passed my obedience school training (but just barely). I do tricks for treats (sit, lay down, come, etc.), but I'd prefer if you just give me the treats. :) Most of the day (and night), I sleep or lounge outside in the sun, but I like to balance my leisure time with spurts of high-energy play time or long walks. My health is pretty good for a dog my age, but eating regular dog food that is grain-free and lamb-based has helped to combat the development of some typical medical conditions (and I don't have to take any regular medications). I'm looking for new owners who like to sit with me and be warm, but also walk outside and play. My family rescued me from a shelter 5 years ago, so I don't like to be crated or secluded. I am not good with any other animals and CANNOT be near or around children. Unfortunately, I need a new home because my owners have a baby of their own now and I've been aggressive. :( Hopefully, there is someone out there who can take me in soon to live out my days in peace and happiness. My current family can provide a dog door (insert for sliding glass doors), dog house, beds, blankets, toys, treats, and water fountain.
