About Gumae (goo-may)

Gumae (goo-may) is friendly with all animals...other dogs, cats, chickens, goats, pigs, horses, etc. She is good with kids, too. She's a very laid back girl who likes her chew toys. Leash and crate trained. Still working on her potty-training. Gumae will be 1 year old in January and weighs about 30-35 pounds. She has limited sight and hearing. She is afraid of riding in a vehicle. She does not panic or act crazy...she just lays there and shakes. I think she's sensitive to the vibrations because of her hearing and sight impairment. She knows her name and knows 'come' and 'sit'. This little girl has an underbite and her build is a little awkward... her shoulders are wider than her hips so she has a hard time running... she tends to just jog and never really runs. She has a crook in her tail from where a horse stepped on it when she was a puppy. All of that is how she got the name Gumae. Everyone called her 'Goofy Mae' and ended up putting it together to get 'Gumae' (pronounced goo-may). She LOVES to be petted and hugged and loved on. I believe she would sit in one spot all day if somebody would pet her for that long. Gumae has had her 2nd set of puppy shots and will be brought up to date on her shots as well as her spay prior to being adopted.
