About Scruffy

Scruffy is an awesome 8 year old soft coated wheaten terrier. He has dog aggression issues and would be best suited in a house with no other animals. I love him dearly and hate to give him up, but unfortunately, him and my other male dog do not get along. We controlled the issues for the past 5-6 years by working with a behaviorist and medication. He can be anxious and submissive, but overall is a very loving and loyal dog. Him and my other male get in fights and I've reached the point that I'm fearful someone is going to get hurt. He gets jealous easily and food aggressive, which is why it is important that he is the only pet in the household. Ideally, he would probably do best with someone that is home most of the day, but he is accustomed to me working full time. I would be happy to provide more information for anyone that is a serious inquiry. I don't want to give him up, but I don't want any serious injuries to occur as a result of the fighting that seems to be increasing between him and my other male. References will be required. I will not allow just anyone to take him. Also, I'd really like to find someone that would stay in touch with me and even let us visit.
