About Sophie

ABOUT ME: Sophie is a wonderful senior Boerboel lady that would love to find a family to spend her senior years with. Ms. Soph is very laid-back and easy, and just wants to relax and hang out close to her people WHAT I NEED IN A HOME: Sophie can be shy with new people, but once she feels comfortable, she's happy to hang out with the family. She can get overwhelmed by noisy and high-stimulus environments and would prefer a more laid-back and quiet household. An adults-only home would be ideal, but a family with older children may also be a good fit. Sophie hasn't had much experience with other big dogs, but she may do well in a home with a laid-back male. She doesn't seem to care much about the barn cats at The Bullpen, so a feline-friendly home may be an option. THE DETAILS: Sophie is housebroken, crate-trained, knows how to use a dog door and basic obedience, and has perfected walking on a leash! Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting.
