About Chief

This handsome senior has two goals in life: 1) Snuggle with his human, and 2) Sleep in a comfy spot. Chief is 10 years old, but the years just mean he's slightly more mellow, house trained, crate trained, and all around awesome. He would do well in a home as the only pet since he's on older dude and doesn't have time for whippersnappers or annoying cats, but he has done well with his foster dog siblings after a proper and slow introduction. Chief still has an interest in toys, walks, and he has no problem getting around. He's been great with all the people that he's met including kids who are 8 and 9. I think that he would make a great companion dog for someone looking for a lower maintenance dog for company. Chief has had and been treated for heartworm in the past and will need to be on a preventative for the rest of his life.
