About Petra

This black beauty is 3-year old Petra,15 pounds of major doxie personality. Petra had some very tough times in her young life, coming into rescue suffering from IVDD. She has lost 7 pounds and has made a complete recovery without surgery, runs and plays with the best of the pack! Petra is shy at first meeting, loyal and loving to her humans. (No kids for Petra.) She gets along with the dogs in her foster home but is food aggressive. She'd be a perfect only dog. Petra enjoys running, exploring in the yard. She is crate and potty trained. Petra has climbed a mountain, on to be a great companion to her special forever family.
