About Fancy

FOSTER LOCATION: Boise, ID Fancy is a spayed 10 year old Heeler mix. Quiet, slightly shy Fancy came to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue after her own was no longer able to care for her. Now living the quiet life in a foster home she is dreaming of a new home to call her own! This pretty girl can be a little shy at first but with slow movements she will be licking your face in no time. Once she gets to know you she will be your little shadow and is happy to just be wherever you are. Fancy would love to have a home with an adult or 2 that have time to devote to her. Short walks, car rides, cuddles and face licking are musts in Fancy's life Fancy has lived with other dogs during her lifetime but prefers dogs that are respectful of her space. Just like with people she wants to get to know her new friends a bit before she gives them her heart. She'd be happy to be the only dog or to live with others that are calm like she is. She grew up with cats and is indifferent about them which is always a plus. Fancy loves, loves, loves car rides! Just say 'load up' and she is a great co-pilot on daily errands. Fancy enjoys being with her person and once she trusts you she is stuck like glue in the house, but don't let her fool you- this girl will run if she's not on leash outside. So, a leash is required when not in a fenced area. She does have a little extra 'cushion' that needs to come off, so a household that can give her daily exercise and monitor her eating habits would be very beneficial to Fancy.
