Hello! Smokey, is a beautiful Russian Blue with green eyes. My good friend Dan had had Smokey since he was a kitten. Dan was a neighbor and in poor health and very poor. I was helping Dan out by buying food and litter for Smokey from Chewy. Dan had a premonition of his own impending death and was more concerned about Smokey's plight if he did indeed die, he knew I was a 'cat person' and made me promise to help him out in that eventuality. Dan died three weeks later. Dan had introduced me to Smokey who was very standoffish at first but warmed up to me and liked to stretch out full length next to my leg and fall asleep while I petted him. Smokey is not a lap kitty. My g/f and me have our own cat, BabyBoo, who doesn't tolerate other pets. Smokey would do well by himself with older adult humans. He would come with his toys, a covered litter box, a brand new carrying case and his scratch pads, and his remaining Fancy Feast Classic and Temptation treats. Smokey is loyal and loving. He also needs companionship, I can only afford a few hours a day with him as I recently had two minor strokes and, if I should die, would leave my g/f in a very difficult position. We are Seniors. Smokey is free from Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids and is current on all his shots. He is a talker too! Mainly, he is just lonely. Smokey weighs 16.2 pounds but is not fat. Smokey's Vet: 'House call Veterinary Services of Pittsburgh' Barbara Smith, V.M.D. (412) 278-2111. Keep Smokey away from plastic bags. My email address is [email protected] as my cell phone is not reliable. Thanks, Bob p.s. Smokey has never gone outside nor his apartment. He is very fearful of doing so.
