Here is the shelter info. My name is *freya and I am a spayed female, chocolate and white Pit Bull Terrier and Welsh Corgi - Cardigan mix. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 5 months old. I have been at the shelter since Jul 03, 2017. Shelter Staff made the following comments about this animal: Freya is a young, short-legged, long-bodied chocolate Pit Bull mix who needs more intensive training and care than we can provide at this time. Our wonderful volunteers have been dedicated to taking her out on walks and our behaviorist has had her participating in playgroups. But she needs more! She would benefit from ongoing training for her leash manners and reactivity. She also needs a more structured environment to help with her defensiveness and sensitivity. These are very workable issues and we feel that she deserves the chance to thrive in a better and more encouraging environment. If you, or someone you know, have the time and structure to help this cute girl, please come and meet her! This may be her only chance she so desperately needs at a life she deserves.
