About Patch

Patch was rescued from a bad life at approx 6 mos of age. He was sick with parvo and had been abused as a bait dog for fighting animals. We spent a great deal of time and money and nursed him back to health. Most of the time he is the sweetest most loving dog I have ever seen! My heart was breaking at the thought that I might have to put this sweet boy down. He has some issues with my daughter, who is an autistic adult with behavior issues. He has bitten her, once a nip, the last time he punctured her skin. I could not bear to put him down though, because he has literally been like my baby. The trouble is that he needs some good effective training, which in my area would cost me about $3000. I cannot afford this, but I would love for him to find a forever home. He loves to play, loves hugs and thinks he is a tiny lap dog who wants to curl up with you for love. I will not adopt him out to anyone with children as the unpredictable nature of both kids and abuse survivor dogs can be a dangerous mix. Please help save my baby. I had been talked into having him euthanized but have called the Animal Services who have him for quarantine observation that I have changed my mind and I will find a rescue home for him. I miss him like crazy but I'd rather give him a good home than put him down. Thank you for saving my baby.
