I picked Chance up off of the side of the road at the beginning of October. I tried to find his owners but was told that he was probably put out. Due to his breed, our local animal shelter said he would be put down immediately. We've tried for months to find a home for him. He is so sweet and gentle. Despite being 55 pounds, he is an absolute lap puppy!! We, unfortunately, cannot have another dog at this time, so we are trying to find him a good home. He loves kids and other dogs, however, he plays rough, so I recommend bigger dogs. He gets along fine with cats. He has a small amount of separation anxiety that seems to be getting better by the day; he just needs some toys to chew on. He does not need to be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. As far as the hip dysplasia, it is very mild as does not need treatment at this time. His walks do not need to be too long (a mile to mile and a half is perfect), though, or his hips start to bother him. He is potty trained and knows some basic commands (we're working on learning how to walk properly on a leash!) He is scheduled to be neutered in the next couple of weeks. Chance is also up to date on all shots, heartworm, and flea/tick preventative. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!!
