About Jeb

Adoption Fee: $25
Lab / Flat-Coated Retriever
Age: Puppy
Sex: Male

Jeb is a 2017 Home for the Holidays dog. As we enter the holiday season, Jeb is about to spend his second Christmas in a kennel run. It is astounding that such a beautiful young boy with a radiant spirit and a love for everyone finds himself still living in his concrete world. Jeb arrived in Sept 2016. Happy and confident, overjoyed for the companionship of a walk with volunteers or a romp in the play yards with doggie friend. So happy when sharing some time with a friendly face, so saddened to return to his kennel and to wait for the next moment beyond it's walls when he can again feel alive. Jeb has spent 15 months of curling up on a lonely cot every night. Jeb is a 2 and 1/2 year old lab mix with a dash of something extra. Children, dogs, cats‰'Ű|all are welcome in Jeb's world. Jeb's fee has been subsidized by a sponsor to $25. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and tested free of heart worms. Application can be submitted online at our website:‰'Ű|/dog-adopti‰'Ű|/ or at the shelter. Adoption policies/application procedures are detailed under All Adoptable Animals. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home suitable for their needs and committed to their care and safety. Each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own furry family members. Adopters who are not within the local area of the shelter MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. Meeting approved adopters is one of the final steps in the adoption process. We do not permit transport or shipping of our residents without the adopter. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Resident animals are owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The shelter is not permitted by GA law to accept strays. The facility is usually operating at capacity with a list of animals approved for intake waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4. Closed Mondays Location: 4823 Helen Hwy. 75N, Sautee, GA 30571, Phone: 706-865-4135 Email: Facebook: Charles Smithgall Humane Society is located in the mountains of NE GA, 3 miles south of the alpine town of Helen.
