Ranger was a terribly starved stray in a central TX shelter. He weighed only 44# but today he weighs 60#! After sitting in the shelter for a month, he was moved to a foster home in Concordia MO where his condition, not surprisingly, greatly improved. Besides being totally emaciated, Ranger was heartworm positive, had hook worms and also broken teeth. Despite his terrible condition, Ranger is a sweet, lovable and loving companion. He has been a wonderful house guest, preferring one particular chair in the middle of everything. He is housebroken, crate trained, does not chew, is very dog social and very sweet with people. While he has met several cats and showed no interest, he has not lived with cats in his home. With the right introduction, it is likely that he could live with cats. Why this lovely dog was not found or claimed, we don't know. He's certainly a gem and with one of those easy-to-love personalities. For more information, contact Jon at [email protected].
