About Arlo

Hello my name is Arlo the Avenue R puppy. The story behind that is I was found in a cardboard box wet and frozen half to death on avenue R in Palmdale Ca. I smelled like pee and I was just about ready to give up like my brother who was already stiff in the box next to me. My rescuer has a habit of stopping when she sees a box upright and open on the side of the road and she found me at 3:38am on October 14th, 2017 I was estimated to only be a few days old my eyes weren't open yet. I was taken to the vet and they said I wasn't going to make it and I should just be put to sleep but my rescuer is very stubborn and couldn't let them out me to sleep, she took me home and bottle fed me and kept me warm with a heating pad and didn't sleep for days because I was very needy and afraid of being alone for too long I couldn't see which made me want to be with her all the time. I am 10 weeks old now and had my first set of shot and I am very bossy I demand the attention of any visitors and children! I am strong and healthy and love exploring and getting lost and I am still a huge fatty I love food and I will eat till I KO with a food coma lol I am still very attached to my rescuer but I'm at the perfect age where I can bond with a new family but a main requirement for my new family is I can't be left alone long I have separation anexiety and want to be with someone 24/7 I'm a baby and don't ever wanna grow up! I will be approximately 6lbs full grown but again I'm a fatty so I will have to remain on my feeding schedule and not be fed too many treats! The vet thinks I also have Dachshund in me so I'm a fun mix for sure!
