About Novella

Novella is a 1.5 yr old Beagle/Italian Greyhound mix (18lbs) looking for her new home. She came to us from another rescue with puppies. Her puppies have grown up and have been adopted - now it's Novella's turn! We aren't sure where she came from or anything about her past, but it wasn't that great �%81� Novella is a very scared girl that needs a lot of patience and understanding. She has been in a foster home, and this is what her foster mom has to say: 'Novella is very scared of adults but she is fine with little kids (as evidenced with my three year old). Novella loves to play, she will play with toys and especially loves the squeaky toys. Novella loves to run, she runs very fast. She will need a good sized back yard that she can't get out of. Novella likes other small dogs and she has attached herself to my small dog (much to his chagrin). While Novella runs away from you, she will sleep in bed with you and cuddle up. She is not leash trained, but we are working on it. She will allow you to approach her if you have a treat 10% of the time. She is crate trained and we are working on housebreaking. She will need to be with an owner that understands that she is still puppy like because she likes to chew on things. She is a beautiful girl' We are hoping there is an understanding home out there for her, that is wanting to rescue a dog and provide all the love in the world to a much needed dog. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked. Her adoption comes with 30 days of free pet insurance, and comes with a free vet visit. Her adoption fee is $180.
