About Duke

This animal is available to licensed rescue groups only. Please do not enquire unless with a licensed rescue group. Message from owner**** This is Duke. He is a purebred Yellow Lab. He's approximately 3 years old. He loves to play fetch and is amazing with children of all ages (including babies) and adults. He loves otger animals and has been living with a mini daschund, two cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and also ducks and chickens. He does great with all of them. He can be a stinker with food. He likes to sneak people food. He needs a secure yard to run in. If not, he will get out and run. Although he has come back most times but one. He is due for his shots and needs to be neutered. He was my step son's 16th birthday present and unfortunately when he moved out he left the dog. I have always taken care of him anyway. He knows his commands and loves to sit on your lap. I have to relinquish him due to a chronic disease that has progressed and does not allow me to care for him any longer. We will miss him dearly, However, we've come to the conclusion that it's unhealthy for me to continue caring for him. It's too much for me with 4 kids and all the otger the other things I have to take care of. I pray he goes to a loving, active family who will love him for the rest of his days. He is available immediately.
